Coming from the Italian tanneries with which we have worked for many years, the split leather also called split leather, which we have selected for the making of our articles, has the appearance of smooth leather, sanded leather or grained leather.

Carefully crafted, this split leather that we use is of high quality and ready to last over time.

In the interest of an eco-responsible approach, the grained leather that we work with comes exclusively from the food industry.

The maintenance of our leather must be done while respecting its particularities. Leather is a delicate material that must be given the greatest care when maintaining it.

To maintain it, you can carry out certain operations using gentle and appropriate products.

clean it

To clean our leather accessories, use a soft cotton cloth. Using circular movements, take care to cover the entire surface of the bag on which the leather is visible.

feed him

For this step, we advise you to choose a suitable milk, balm, or foam.

First apply a small dose of your product to an inconspicuous part of the part to be nourished. If the result meets your expectations, you can then feed the entire piece.

Waterproof it

Waterproofing your split leather accessories protects them from rain, humidity and stains. Carrying out this operation regularly helps extend their longevity.

We advise you to waterproof them using a waterproofing spray, which you will follow the instructions for use. Before treating all visible surfaces, consider treating a small non-visible part to test your product. If you are satisfied with the result, you can then treat all surfaces.

If you have the impression that your leather piece has tarnished after waterproofing, do not hesitate to polish it to restore its shine using a soft cotton cloth.

Leather goods, small leather goods and accessories made from split leather/split leather must always be dusted before being stored in a cover or box reserved for them.

To avoid creating marks on your accessory, absolutely avoid storing it under heavy items, especially if they have buckles or other metal finishes.

We advise you to store your accessories in a dry place, away from light, ultraviolet rays, humidity, heat or frost.
